September is here—and the midterm elections are just two months away!
This is Peter and Don with Indivisible Oregon Postcard & Letter Writers.
We are asking you to help us achieve our mutual goal of ending the MAGA Republican control of Congress this November!
WE ARE WRITING TO 250,000 AMERICANS!
We started our Postcard & Letter Writing Program in January, and have written 125,000 postcards to date, but we are only half way to our goal!
We need your help to reach our goal of writing to 250,000 voters and potential NEW voters before the election.
Some area groups are working with us. We have been providing packets of postcards and letters to them, but need more groups to help us now!
We’re currently writing:
Field Team 6: voter-registration postcards to potential new Democratic voters
Vote Forward GOTV letters: to Democrats in key swing states
IO GOTV: Postcards to Oregon Democrats - Starting in mid-September, tohelp protect our Governor and Congressional seats!
HOW YOUR GROUP CAN HELP
1. Get your members writing!
Organize a writing event or provide a pickup location for members to write at home. We provide postcards and letters at no cost and will help you get started.
2. Promote our public writing events! We have 30 public writing events scheduled at seven location in the Greater Portland area between now and October 27th.
If you don't have the capacity to organize an event, simply share with your members information about our public writing events and pickup locations, in your emails, newsletters, and social media.We've made this easy for you, with a Media Information document which you can use to copy or download ready-to-use copy & paste content, text, links, QR codes, photos, and social media posts regarding these public events.

We will mail you postcards and letter packets for you to provide to your group members to write!
