We The People Tigard Area is a community based group, committed to non-violent social action.  We are affiliated with national Indivisible organization. We seek to raise awareness and provide safe and accessible community events for local residents to voice their concerns.

Our first protest was in March of 2025.  Five people gathered in Universal Plaza to declare their resistance to the chaos and cruelty of Trump's policies. 

Those 5 voices have grown into a group that has had more than 8,000 people attend the NO KINGS 3 Protest, in March of 2026! 

We also have organized an ongoing weekly Umbrella Protest.  Every Saturday morning, from 10-11am, we line the sidewalks at Durham Road and HWY 99W, giving people the opportunity to persist and share their resistance to the abuse of power by the current administration.
